START Saturday's Reggae 6 by trusting Jason DaCosta's HIT N RUN as a banker on a $500,000 claim tag at seven and a half furlongs with Tevin Foster aboard.

Foster, runner-up to Raddesh Roman by one winner in last year's title race, has so far ridden six winners in eight meets since returning to Jamaica from Canada, joining Dane Nelson, Dane Dawkins, Christopher Mamdeen and Roger Hewitt as winter birds.

In his first season in Canada, Foster notched stats of 14 winners, 23 second, and 29 third-place finishes. Foster's 173 mounts earned stakes of CAN$252,194 at Century Mile where compatriot Nelson was the champion rider.

HIT N RUN chased MIDNIGHT GALAXY into the lane in a $1.5m claiming event with Abigail Able aboard a month ago. On Mouttet Mile Day, the four-year-old filly led a non-winners-of-three event into the straight, overhauled by eventual winner WICKED CASSIE, finding sixth at seven furlongs.

Thrown in for $500,000, HIT N RUN should dominate from the off, giving Reggae 6 bettors a flying start.

Banking HIT N RUN allows bettors to throw the kitchen sink at two-year-old maidens in the second event at six furlongs. MOHANLAL closed well for second at five furlongs straight on debut. However, going a furlong farther on the round course is a horse of a different colour, possibly opening the event to any of the three debutants in the six-horse field.

UNCLE PECK should make all in the third for Peter-John Parsard, a banker with every dollar. DaCosta's second down-in-class runner on the day, PRINCE AMAAN among $1.5m claimers at five and a half furlongs in the fourth, is also banker material but can be backed up by FLYBLUEJET, JAMES and WHISKY.

The fifth should be decided between the speed horses, SWEET BERN and BOASEY GIRL, at five furlongs straight. However, use a trio in the Reggae 6 closer, RUNAWAY BAY, FEELING FREE and ARMY RECRUIT.
