Arnett Gardens FC head coach, Jerome 'Jerry' Waite, says the FLOW CONCACAF Caribbean Championship is another opportunity for the club talent to be exposed.

Arnett is scheduled to play against Central FC of the Trinidad and Tobago Professional League today at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex, starting at 9 p.m.

In the first game of the semi-final double header, Red Stripe Premier League champions Portmore United will face off with Club Atletico Pantoja of the Dominican Republic, at 6 p.m.

"This is another opportunity for Arnett Gardens players. We were runners-up in the Caribbean Football Union Club Championship in 2002 and played against DC United in the CONCACAF stage. Our aim is to represent in the CONCACAF Champions League next year," Waite told STAR Sports yesterday.

"At the same time, the aim is to continue working. We have a big squad and the sky is the limit. Once we can go out there and play to plan, we should be okay," he added.

"We have all the players available and that is good because it will take a collective effort when the game comes tomorrow," Waite, who has led the Trench Town club to four of their five national titles, said.

Despite Portmore United being the host for the final phase of the championship, Waite's team will be playing on home turf.

"It is always big playing at home. We have never played at Arnett in the Caribbean Club Championship, so it is good for the supporters to see what the home-grown talent can do at this stage," he concluded.

The winners of each semi-final will contest the final on Sunday at the same venue, starting at 8 p.m.
